Change of plan...

My partner that I usually work to create videos and complete teamwork with on the A-level media studies course has recently just left to get an apprenticeship in something she enjoys and wants to obtain in the future. This has left me on my own to carry out the A-Level music video task, which isn't a problem because it's still achievable and doable, I am just slightly behind now because I have to come up with a complete new and fresh idea. The original plan was to have a party scene in full swing to 'We can't stop' by Miley Cyrus. There aruv2c  e some advantages and disadvantages to Charlotte leaving. I feel like I am free to choose any song I like now without considering anyone else and come up with my own ideas of what location and what props to include. Me and Charlotte didn't share many friends in common so now it will be easier to get people I know in the video (if they agree to being in it) without their being an awkwardness or hard decisions on who to involve in it. However, the downside of Charlotte leaving is that extra pressure will be put on me to complete everything for deadlines. This can be done, however it will probably put me under more pressure and stress than usual but I will make sure everything is completed for the deadlines set.
I have a range of ideas in mind and I just can't seem to decide on one. Some of my ideas are listed below with a brief description:

'B0$$' by Fifth Harmony

I will get a group of girls (around 6) to perform synchronous dancing, preferably on a stage somewhere or at some place with a long plain curtain so it looks professional and realistic, like an actual show. Different shots will be captured of the girls dancing in the same outfits, whereas some shots will be captured of each individual singing. I will add a flashing, massive title saying 'B0$$' whenever the word comes up in the song. I will also add the multi-coloured strobe light effects to add to the fast pace of the song and to brighten it up. All the girls will be wearing something black on the stage scene. When the song slows down the location will change to an elegant room where the girls look all glamourous so it fits in with the pace.

'Something New'- by Girls aloud

The girls will be once again dancing in synchronous on some parts, so it displays the girls working together showing 'Girl power'. I will also use a variety of different shots of the different girls singing whilst dancing . The location of this song will be mainly in a house where lots of girl type things are happening e.g getting ready etc, riding in a convertible car. Some will also be shot in a field with matching outfits on. There will be fast cutaways of  the different girls singing in the different locations which will add to the effect of the music.

'Call the shots' by Girls aloud

There will be 5-6  different girls singing and dancing as if they're actually in a girl band . The location will be hopefully set on a sunny day in a garden with lots of bright colours when the sun is shining. However when all the girls sing at once it falls to nigh time and the girls are dancing  and singing in the same colour outfit around a campfire with sparklers .

'I'm in control' by Aluna George

This will have one singer in it, however there will be around 6 girl backing dancers. The location will be first set in her bedroom when shes' waking up, then the main singer arriving in a car and barging through a house party in full swing. The party will be quote manic. There will be also fast cutaways where the location and outfits change , she will be in a field with a lot of backing dancers with floaty outfits on swaying in the wind giving the impression that she is 'in control'.

'212' By Azealia Banks

There will be one main singer in this, however there will be about 5-6 girls involved dancing in the background in the same colour outfits. This music video will just be of the girls going wild with each other. Different shots will be taken in different rooms in a house doing different things. Some other shots will be taken elsewhere, preferably in Sheffield at night with the lights. In between some clips there will be flashing letters of the lyrics appearing in bright colours. Some shots will be of the main singer with makeup down her face to other shots where she is all glammed up. With this song being fast paced and quite jumpy, I will include some of the effects I used during the 'Lush life' Zara larrson video.

'Sorry' by Beyoncé

In this video the first location will be of the main singer walking down the stairs and joining the other girls who she is singing to who are looking very glamourous. The location will change for some parts of the main singer singing on her own, probably somewhere with a background. Other shots will then be taken of a lot of girls dancing in a field with  car parked up in matching outfits all doing the same dance but with the main singer in front .

'All Night' by Beyoncé

This song is slightly slower but is quite powerful. This will be of the main singer stolling through a field and wood when there is a sunset with a few other girls who are going to be dancing in the background. There will be fast cutaways to where she is singing on her own in a house and the girls come and join her.
