So this is my first recreation video! It is 30 seconds long. Both Charlotte and I have recreated a music video to Zara Larsson's catchy song 'Lush life'! The original music video, is basically just filmed with a white background behind it, but uses a variety of different bright, aluminous colours and magnificent editing techniques. Our recreation video was used in the same location, which was the drama block at school where there was a plain white sheet. The plain white sheet makes it look quite professional and like a photo studio! We decided to use the 'coloured ghost effect' numerous amount of times because in the real video, on some parts there are lots of videos of her dancing all at once. I think the 'coloured ghost effect' brightens the whole video up and makes it more exciting to watch as this editing technique is very enticing . We also decided to use the 'Scribble' effect which was located on after effects, however you could do the same thing on adobe Photoshop, but we didn't get round to properly trying out. We used the 'scribble' effect on after effects to make our video as similar to Zara Larrsons video as we could . The 'scribble' was outlined around my hands when I was clapping.
This video seemed very fun to recreate, we ultimately wanted to try things out that no one else was going to do and test our ability. I am really looking forward to the rest of A2 in media !
